Listing Overview

The EASTER EGGS tour takes you far to the east of Hamburg, into the Mümmelmannsberg district. The term "Easter Eggs" comes from the gaming scene and refers to locations and actions that can be found as extras outside the normal gameplay, but only by those who invest enough time and patience and look closely. With this tour, we want to showcase the colorful diversity of Mümmelmannsberg and highlight what is often overlooked. The district offers more than just high-rise buildings and a new Edeka supermarket. Off the main roads, you can find hidden courtyards, meditative waters, and perhaps the longest school in Hamburg. And, of course, many rabbits. This audio guide provides the thread for an exploration tour with keen senses and alert ears. The tour was created as part of the Spring School Church and Cultural Heritage 2023 and was implemented by students Catharina Groth, Lasse Lahrtz, Tom Pretschner, Lilli Hansen, and Dana Schönefeld under the supervision of Dr. Karin Berkemann.
