In the form of a scenic audio walk, you will accompany the protagonist Anja, who has prepared a tour of the gardens for her neighbors. Along with Anja and the three participants Gerd, Jelena, and Sasha, you will explore the English, Oriental, and Balinese gardens as well as the rhododendron grove. During the walk, the four participants discuss topics such as the role of plants in rapidly growing metropolises, plant migration and colonialism, the history of the Gardens of the World, and the question of plant consciousness. Sound designer Jana Irmert translates the visually perceptible into a unique auditory experience with her arrangements. Sounds and atmospheric tones are interwoven with the narrative, giving you the space and time to immerse yourself in the sound world of plants, which is otherwise inaudible to the naked ear.
