This audio guide is a snapshot of a building, a place, and a community that I love, along with memories of over 40 years of engagement with it, as well as some architectural and historical information. It was compiled in May/June 2022, as things were reopening after more than two years of the pandemic. The Triangle Building has been an independent business and arts center for decades. Its businesses, especially the restaurants, faced monumental challenges during the Covid-19 "lockdown" and the various phases of health regulations. Nevertheless, they managed to be incredibly flexible, shifting to takeout, curbside pickup, and later adapting to the different phases of the province's reopening. Along with other local businesses in the area, they were crucial in maintaining the community spirit of the neighborhood and providing much-needed social connections.
