As part of a municipal renovation program, many millions have been invested in the renewal of the district, which you will see along this walk. While tourists crowd between reconstructed facades in the center of Frankfurt, in Höchst you can marvel at a genuine old town with quaint alleys, an old castle with a romantic moat and castle terraces high above the Main River, one of the oldest churches in Germany with a hidden garden, and much more. In other words, anyone who doesn't take a walk through Höchst, who doesn't want to see how this place is being renewed, has only themselves to blame.
