An audio walk through the fantastic Eppinghofen, the Mülheim district with the highest cultural diversity. Storytellers Fatih, Hala, Ikram, Yasmin, Peter, and Martina share tales of the hidden, mystical, and mysterious events that lie behind the facades, such as the lonely gumball machine, the secret of the blue laundromat, or the metal sculpture in the roundabout. The fate behind one of the many "stumbling stones" is also illuminated. The audio walk concludes in the Poet's Quarter, where, among other things, the spirit of Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock is responsible for a vacancy. The audio walk was produced as part of "Eppinghofen Erzählt," a project by the Mülheim an der Ruhr Cultural Office in June 2024, and was funded by the Rhineland Regional Council (LVR).
