The green circular route along the Tarpenbek in Langenhorn passes through the Gutenbergring industrial area in Norderstedt, the Ohmoor in Niendorf, and the Kohnstieg Tunnel, with occasional viewpoints over the airfield. It is ideal for hiking, cycling, jogging, and walking. In rainy weather, some paths can become quite muddy, so wider tires and sturdy footwear are recommended. The starting point is Krohnstieg Lake, which also features a large playground with a zip line and climbing net. The route is accessible via HVV bus lines 24, 191, and 193. Parking is available, for example, at the Hotel Nordport; from there, head 200 meters north on Niendorfer Straße and then turn left.
