Listing Overview
In everyday life, traffic events are often viewed and assessed only from one's own perspective, depending on the chosen mode of transportation. This audio walk invites you to also consider the perspective of "the others." Additionally, it presents the challenge of a fundamental shift in perspective in light of emerging changes such as the diesel scandal and driving bans, or the rise of electric mobility and self-driving vehicles.
Along the Promenadenring, numerous passersby share their thoughts. These randomly captured voices are supplemented by statements from renowned traffic experts. Among them are Jana Böttcher, a tram driver for LVB, Katrin Dziekan from the Federal Environment Agency, Mirco Grützmacher from CleverShuttle Leipzig, Torben Heinemann from the Leipzig Office for Traffic and Civil Engineering, and Hartmut Topp, a traffic planner from Kaiserslautern.
The route length is approximately 2.6 kilometers. This talk walk was made possible with the support of the Leipzig Office for Traffic and Civil Engineering.
