Experience the 5 Places & Phases Model in Vogelsberg with this audio walk, which takes you on an artistic and philosophical discovery tour around the city center of Schlitz. Uncover stories, structures, memories, and hidden gems, and gain an unusual perspective on the castle town of Schlitz. The audio walk was created by the Schlitz theater group under the artistic direction of freelance artist Annika Keidel and is the result of the "Schlitz Cultural Dialogues," conducted as part of the "TraVogelsberg – A Region Takes Off" project. This project is supported by the TRAFO – Models for Culture in Transition program, an initiative of the German Federal Cultural Foundation. In Vogelsberg, it is implemented by the Vogelsberg district as the project sponsor, in collaboration with partner institutions Kulturzentrum Kreuz e.V. and Lauterbacher Musikschule e.V. TRAFO assists rural regions in Germany in opening their cultural institutions to new tasks and responding to societal challenges. Museums, theaters, music schools, and cultural centers become cultural anchors and contemporary meeting places, thereby enhancing the significance of culture in public perception and strengthening cultural policy structures in municipalities and districts. From 2015 to 2021, TRAFO supported four regions in developing their cultural infrastructure, and in the second phase, from 2020 to 2024, seven additional regions are being supported.
