At a total of 16 stops, it describes how migration processes in Germany's westernmost major city have shaped and transformed it in recent and recent history. Over the past few decades, Aachen has evolved from an industrial city into a city of science, primarily characterized by its universities and research institutions. This socio-economic structural change has also significantly impacted the city's migration history. The segment between the first stop in Kelmis and the second at Driescher Hof is still quite long, but after that, the distances between the audio stops become noticeably shorter.
