The audio walk "14 Hectares" takes you through Görlitzer Park, focusing on community, change, and environmental justice. As you stroll through the park's past and present, the audio walk narrates stories of environmental justice and encourages reflection on the experiences shared. Görlitzer Park is one of Berlin's most debated green spaces, often serving as a focal point for stigmatizing discussions about migration and the design of our public spaces. The park's history and its significance to the metropolis stretch far back in time. What did this area look like in post-war Berlin? And what does it have to do with a massive landfill in Ghana? The boundaries of a city are not the same as its administrative borders. The park doesn't end where you might think.

The voices featured in the audio walk are Timo Stukenberg, Mab Cardoso, and Nouras Hanana. Contributions come from Hanna Stoll (Children's Farm at Görlitzer) and Moctar Dan Yaye (Afrique-Europe-Interact). The project was coordinated by Marco Clausen and Luca Sumfleth, with research by Saadya Windauer and Luca Sumfleth. Tendai Chitewere provided content consultation, Maicyra Leão handled dramaturgy, Marina Sarno did the sound design, and Mirielle Rohr created the artwork.
