The port of Bergen offers several berths for cruise ships. The city has around 270,000 inhabitants, making it the second-largest city in Norway. Most cruise ships dock in the northern part of the port near the old Hanseatic quarter. Our tour therefore begins at the Bergenhus Fortress. It lasts about 2 to 3 hours and takes us through the old Hanseatic quarter of Bryggen, past the famous fish market, and into the old city center. We recommend briefly stopping at each station during the explanations. At the end of the explanations, there is usually a brief note about the next part of the route.
